Planted in 2016 by winemaker and partner Andy Smith adjacent to DuMOL's existing Green Valley Estate Vineyards, the MacIntyre Estate Vineyard exemplifies the high potential of this pinot noir growing region. The vineyard's cool, lower elevation and consistent fog intrusion create an ideal climate for cultivating this delicate grape variety. The sandy soils, which limit vine vigor, channel late-season vine energy into ripening tiny, loose-berried pinot clusters, resulting in a wine of natural concentration, coastal lift, and freshness. 

Smith reflects on the vineyard's potential saying, "At less than a decade old, it's apparent there's already a real sense of equilibrium between vine, site, and climate. This vineyard will be a star for years to come." 

The 2021 MacIntyre Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir delights with its intensely aromatic coastal character, featuring notes of pine needle, spruce, tart red and black fruits, and hibiscus elements. This remarkable wine, in only its second vintage, has already achieved lofty acclaim, earning an astounding 100 points from esteemed wine critic Antonio Galloni of Vinous. 

One notable aspect of DuMOL's winegrowing is its commitment to having a light touch on the land. The MacIntyre Estate Vineyard was planted at a high density and is dry farmed, which encourages healthy competition and deep-rooted vines. The site is also home to honey bees, tended to by the DuMOL team, that play a vital role in supporting the health and biodiversity of the vineyard ecosystem. 

The 2021 MacIntyre Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir is a testament to DuMOL's commitment to growing and crafting wines that capture the terroir of the Sonoma Coast. Look for this limited-production wine in select restaurants in the coming months.

DeliverThat Integrates With ezCater’s MSI Software

Integration helps restaurants gain operational efficiency by saving time and getting full visibility into deliveries

DeliverThat, the industry leading catering delivery and setup company, with over $250 million dollars of catering delivery and a network of 15K active drivers under its belt, just announced its integration with MSI, ezCater's catering management software.

"We are excited to introduce a streamlined integration that, with a few button clicks in the existing MSI dashboard, will schedule a delivery with our specialized fleet of drivers to solve a huge pain point for off-premise catering.  And as always, all DeliverThat deliveries can be managed and tracked, regardless of channel, in our Smart Dashboard," said Matt Benzel, Chief Technology Officer for DeliverThat. 

MSI, ezCater's catering management software, provides restaurants with specialized tools to track, prep and execute catering orders and manage relationships with high-value customers. With the new integration, restaurants can seamlessly accept catering orders and assign them to DeliverThat for a driver, all within MSI. Any changes to the delivery will automatically be updated in both the MSI and DeliverThat platforms. And, with the Smart Dashboard DeliverThat introduced earlier this year, all deliveries, regardless of channel, are viewable in the Dashboard.

DeliverThat's partner, Tocaya, who is taking advantage of this integration indicated that the integration has not only saved them time because they no longer have to re-enter the deliveries manually, but it has also cut down on the human error factor. Additionally, the integration has allowed them to never miss a delivery, increasing their sales.

"Prior to this integration, there were orders that were being entered into the system too late and we were missing out on those sales. This direct integration eliminates that factor," said Megan Welcome, Director of Catering for One Table Restaurant Brands.

North America's largest advanced battery event brings original equipment manufacturers, business leaders, and top-industry companies together to discover ground-breaking products like high-voltage cables and safety-critical solutions for commercial electric vehicles.

ProEV, a division of Electrical Components International, is proud to be exhibiting at The Battery Show, the premier event for the North American battery and EV ecosystem. The event, from September 12-14 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan, brings together more than 15,000 engineers and business leaders from more than 775 battery and EV manufacturers to spotlight the latest developments in commercial EV high-voltage technology.

ProEV, the center of excellence for electric vehicles at ECI, will display and demonstrate its newest emerging electrification and high-voltage cable technology and safety-critical solutions at Booth 1957. The company said it expects the demonstrations to generate noteworthy discussions on high-voltage cables, which are essential in the development of commercial EVs.  

"The Battery Show offers an unparalleled opportunity to exhibit our technology and meet with the top industry companies," said Jarred Knecht, President of ProEV. "It is a significant platform for conversations around evolving technology. Attendees can anticipate an enlightening experience from ProEV's participation."   

Knecht said one strength of The Battery Show is how it creates opportunities for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to visit and learn from exhibitors about the supply chain for the electric vehicle market and how to partner with other manufacturers.   

"We are always keeping up-to-date on the latest technologies to make sure we understand what is coming up in the future, and The Battery Show allows us to garner ideas with potential partners on how we can advance technology," Knecht said. "We can show new technical solutions, like how we are working with new interconnect solutions, more advanced connectors, more advanced high-voltage systems. We are inspecting and tracing all of our products using our proprietary AI, KonnectAI, a gap creator that is in line with our autonomous, zero-defect future."  

Knecht said the show also will allow ProEV and other suppliers to demonstrate the strength of their supply chains and their ability to deliver what OEMs need. "We have long-term agreements with our customers, so their supply is solid," he said. "We have allocated capacity and support all raw materials, so they are protected. The theme today, and that we will see at the show, is about how to protect the supply chain in the future and learn and evolve from the past. We want to make sure it is solid because now, as volumes are already climbing."   

The Battery Show also provides opportunities for component manufacturers who are not yet involved in vehicle electrification.   

"If they want to figure out how they could use their products in electric vehicles, or manufacture different products for EV, they should definitely attend the show to educate themselves on where there might be opportunities and establish supply partners," Knecht said. "Any OEM that is building anything electric should attend this show because it gives them a perspective on the underlying componentry and technologies of what's available and what's coming."
